Due to the huge demand of high quality hire bikes in Mallorca in spring we strongly recommend you book your bike at the time of booking your holiday.

All requested hire bikes are subject to availability at the prices listed below.
Alternative bike supplies may be subject to an additional charge as we may need to acquire bikes from a third party.

The bike rent has to be paid in full with the booking. No refund can be given in case of cancellation.

General information for all bikes

Pedals

Bikes are rented without pedals. Pedals, if you don't bring your own, need to be rented separately - fee 15 €/week
No rental fee for flat pedals

Accessories

All hire bikes are supplied with the following accessories: computer, saddle bag & 2 tire leavers, pump and 2 bottle cages

Bike size

One of the most important measurements is your body height to determine the size of your frame.

But, for the best fit of your rental bike please also measure the A, B and C of your bike at home as shown in the diagram below:

Please send the following details for each rider, in cm:

Body height (compulsory)
Usual bike size (only if known)
A: top of seat to centre of bottom axel
B: tip of seat to centre of handlebars
C: centre of bars to front wheel axel

Incorrect measurement of A, B and C will mean an uncomfortable fit of the bike. For your own comfort, measure carefully!

Frame sizes are available for people from 1,50m (frame 49cm) to 2m (frame 60cm). See further down.

Bike damage cover

Carbon bike, mechanical or electronic gear shifting: 35 €/week; 6 €/day
E-bike, mechanical or electronic gear shifting: 35 €/week; 6 €/day

It covers damage to the bicycle when hired through SportActive.
It does not include cover for personal injury or accident.

What is covered: mechanical components

What is not covered: the loss of the bike (if stolen) and damage to the frame & forks (broken)

Body height: 1,60m - 1,70m / 5ft 3in - 5ft 7in (63in - 67in) = bike size S 52 cm

Body height: 1,71m - 1,78m / 5ft 7in - 5ft 10in (67in - 70in) = bike size M 54cm

Body height: 1,76m - 1,84m / 5ft 9in - 6ft (69in - 72in) = bike size L 56cm

Body height: 1,83m - 1,89m / 6ft 0in - 6ft 2in (72in - 74in) = bike size XL 58cm

Body height: >1,90m / >6ft 2in (>74in) = bike size XXL 60cm

Bike Garage

The bike storage is located within the hotel complex.

There is a wide selection of bikes for hire (check above).

Hotel Zafiro Tropic****' and Hotel Zafiro Palace Alcudia 5-star' bike garages provide secure bike storage that are kept locked to provide optimum security.

When customers hire bikes from other companies

SportActive is unable to adjust or carry out repairs on third-party hire bikes. SportActive will not be responsible for any mechanical repairs on third-party hire bikes when partaking in any of the cycling activity tours in Mallorca.

When customers bring their own bike

You are welcome to bring your own bike. But please keep in mind that you are responsible for assembling and disassembling your bike upon arrival and departure. You are also responsible for providing maintenance to your bike during your stay.
